On the 23rd of this month A Way Out celebrates a monumental birthday as we turn 20. We feel incredibly honoured and privileged to have worked alongside and provided a service to women, young people and their families across the Teesside area.
The clients we work with are at the heart of all that we do and understanding their needs enables us to offer a holistic approach, working in a trauma informed way. We offer a unique wrap around package across all our services, supporting our clients to access help by working without judgement to meet their needs where they are stood. As an organisation we have been able to support women overcome addictions, homelessness, support them into education and work, helping them take charge and control back of their own lives. Our aim is to empower all who use our services to be the best they can be.
We have a fantastic week of celebrations planned to recognise our birthday and this will include celebrating with our clients, trustees, volunteers, and staff. We would not be where we are without the support of so many who have donated food to our Blossom project. To those who have raised funds within our community, contributing towards the purchase of a new van for outreach, which supports our Liberty Project. Thank you to those who have supported as volunteers across our Youth and Families projects, working with the girls and boys we support. Thank you to those who continue to support us in prayer and lift up our Criminal Justice Service and all the work that we do. We are so very proud to have supported our clients over this time and achieved our 20 year birthday and give thanks to all of the people who have shared our journey.
