Kay joined A Way Out in March 2022 having had a long career within the criminal justice system and working as a senior manager within Probation. Throughout her career in the CJS Kay has worked within Youth Justice and Youth Offending, Prisons, Courts, Multi Agency Public Protection, Integrated Offender Management, to name but a few and brings this experience and learning to A Way Out.

Sue joined A Way Out in April 2019 and has 30years experience of working with women, men and families through their personal and criminal justice journey as offenders, victims, witnesses and relatives in approved premises, prison, police offices and the community.  Sue has managed projects working with communities impacted by crime and anti-social behaviour and also as a community cohesion lead.

David joined A Way Out in April 2018 and has worked for a diverse range of local and national charities for the last 30 years including as a Chief Officer and a Trustee.    Through this David has developed a wide range of skills and experience in governance, strategy and income generation and alongside his role at A Way Out runs his own consultancy.

Jane has recently joined A Way Out as the Services Manager for our Criminal Justice Team.  Jane worked for several years as a Probation Officer, working in the Community and Prison System.  She then moved into roles within the Charity Sector including NSPCC, Women’s Aid and Barnardo’s.  Jane brings a wide range of experience and learning from each of those roles to A Way Out.

Donna has 20 plus years’ experience within both the Business to Business and Business to Customer sectors both In an employed and self-employed capacity, having joined A Way Out in July 2022 as Fundraising Coordinator and more recently also taking on the role of Volunteer Coordinator , Donna Utilises her experience in Sales, Marketing, Training and Customer Relations to build both corporate and community relations.

Georgina is an experienced charity professional with twenty years' experience in the sector. She first joined A Way Out in 2018 as Services Manager and now works part-time as Business Development Manager. With a significant and successful business development and fundraising track record, Georgina bringing additional perspective and insight from having strategically and operationally led across multiple charities and multiple sectors.

Emma joined A Way Out in 2024 after a career as a Primary School Teacher, working predominantly in areas of high deprivation. She also has experience in the charity sector as a Volunteer Coordinator and working within the public sector. She brings significant experience of raising standards and numerous transferrable skills to her role from her previous career, as well as a passion for the work A Way Out does for vulnerable women and families in Teesside.
